James A. Markley Jr.

I just saw this and am so sad that he passed. I really enjoyed working with him over the years at Fort Washing/W&S.
It was also fascinating that he and my grandmother shared the same birth date and were the same age. Maybe they were even born in the same hospital?
She passed at the end of January 2020 so neither of them made it to 100. My heartfelt condolences to the Markley family. Rest in peace Jim Markley.

I am grateful my husband and I stopped in to see Jim at his facility on one of our recent trips to Cincinnati to see family. We reminisced about my parents friendship with he and Noretta, trips to Carter Caves, golf, and the comradarie. His wit, dry sense of humor, and industrious nature, were all still evident to me. Our hearts go out to you in this time of loss. He was a special man. Connie Jones Creamer

I knew Jim when I first started working at Western & Southern 17 years ago. I used to work out with him at the company gym after work. Great fellow and will be missed. God Bless, my heart grieves for your family.
