James Ivien Martin II was born October 6, 1950 and peacefully passed away in his sleep on March 22, 2010. Jimmy and I were pals (and roommates for a few months) in the early 70's. What sticks out in my memory the most are fishing trips in the California Sierras in his black iconic 1950's VW Bug listening to Neil Young and Crazy Horse on the 8-track.

Jim will be missed by us and our thoughts and prayers go out to Lea and Lauren. I personally will always remember the boat that Jim had and we would go out for a ride along the coast of the South Bay or fishing off the rocks in King's harbor fun times and great childhood memories for myself.
