Not sure what to say?

It was sad hearing of Coach Martin passing. I learned from an Alabama A&M Alumni at a store off I-75 a few weeks ago. Coach Martin gave me an opportunity to go to college via a football scholarship. If it wasn't for that scholarship, I know I would have continued heading down the wrong path in life. My football career didn't last long but the chance to attend college was a life changing event. I would like to Thank You Coach Martin for that opportunity to better my life. It worked!

JIM MARTIN AS A BROTHER IN LAW,

(MIGHTY FINE)

As I thank God for the gift of the Christ Child; I also thank God for his love shown to us by providing a friend like Jim Martin. As a counterpart in the SWAC and in the field of athletics Jim was a great mentor to me by providing his love and guidance in or athletic programs. We all shall miss him.

Big Jim left his mark on those across the state of Alabama either at Skegee or A&M. Thank You Coach for making sure I finished what I started at skegee. It's because of you I give back time and time again, because in life we always need someone to be in their corner and you were in mine. Rest in Peace.

To Sorors Joyce & Jen as well as to Jay, Elizabeth and Joy,
I pray that the grace of God's peace and comfort will be with you during your bereavement. Love You.
