Sorry to learn of his passing. Served with Fr Martin in the Navel Reserve. He married us 52 years ago and it stuck. May his soul rest in peace.

We were sorry to learn of Jim's passing. We had stayed in touch with him for probably 50 years, knowing him first when he was pastor of our St. Matthew parish in Champaign, IL. My uncle was always a great part of my life. He lived a full one, full of adventures and challenges. While he will be missed, I'm sure he wouldn't want us to mourn. He was always positive in his outlook, and I look forward to celebrating a life well lived, when we gather next month to do so.

We are sadden by the loss of such a caring and good person and family friend who was always there to help. While our family has had the pleasure of being close friends with Jim for 30 years, Khyati and my greatest memories will always be of preparing with Jim for the special date 20 years ago this past July, when Jim married us in a wonderful outdoor wedding ceremony he jointly led with a Hindu priest.
