James M. Martin

Mike Martin's dialogue with the world is now silent; henceforth, his voice will be heard only in the many books, articles, critiques, essays, editorials, fiction, and films that he left behind as part of his enduring legacy. I wish to thank Mr. Martin's academic associate and biographer for writing Mike's obituary. Mr. Martin's archives are housed in the University of Southern California library system. He was my friend for 54-years and four months, and I shall miss him every day of my life.

Well, sad to see you go. However, you did get the last laugh when you wrote your own obit!
