Jim was a huge positive influence on me and my brother, and many other kids on St Paul´s East Side. I was so fortunate to be able to reconnect with him last year, and get together with him for lunch and at our 1971 Baseball team reunion. We had a great time reminiscing! My condolences to Aaron and Amanda, and the rest of Jim´s family. He was a unique man, and I will cherish his friendship, always!

I remember many summer days playing baseball in the alley and in his backyard along with our brothers and other neighborhood kids. He was always fun to play with. I also remember the close friendship shared between our mom's. He sounds like he grew up to be a fine man.
