Not sure what to say?

Jim - or Martz as I called him - one in a million - I saw him several days before he died. He was recovering from throat surgery and lo and behold could not talk. I know hard to believe as he never ran out of conversation with anyone. He brought a smile and laughter to everyone he knew - Remembering him as I write - yep, I am smiling - he did/does that

May you rest in peace, Jimmy! I will always remember how much you picked on me;) Thoughts and prayers to the family.

I had so many good times with Jim years ago. A very nice family that lived beside my Aunt Libby on Bilger Avenue. Jim you will be missed by everyone who ever knew you, my condolences to the family and Jim....rest in heavenly peace my friend.

The Moose fraternity has lost a great Pilgrim. I will always remember the help and advise that he gave me. Until we meet again, rest in peace, Jim

RIP Jimmy I will always remember how you made me laugh! You had a one of a kind personality and you will be missed greatly. my condulences to the family

There aren't enough words to express my sadness at Jim's passing. Jim was truly a great friend, there whenever I needed him. I met Jim when he drove me in the Bellefonte taxi and became friends when I joined the Moose in 1984. My memories will comfort me until we meet again in heaven. Rest in peace Jimbo!!

To the Jim's family; So sorry for your loss. Jim was liked by all; and good friend. He will be truly missed.

There is now a huge void in the lives of the Martz family as well as in the lives of the Moose family. I can't begin to tell the stories I had with Jim in the 32 years the I have known him. Sorry for your loss.

Jim umpired baseball when I played little league in Pleasant Gap.. He would give me a hard time as I harrassed the other batters as I was a catcher for Mid-State.. May he rest in peace.. God bless you Jim..
