Not sure what to say?

I worked with Jim for a year and a 1/2 on the Bahama sculptures, and it was very nice to work with him. He was a wonderful person, talented and could sing. I'm sorry that alton did not remember me.

A few years ago I called Mr.Mastin and he was a very nice man. Unlike any other artist I have ever seen. I had gotten a painting by him and he took the time to tell me the history behind it. He started out by going around with a trailer behind his car in the seventies. He painted my picture of a small creek back in the woods. Sad to hear of the death of an old friend.

Deborah and family,

I'm chagrined to only today learn of Jim's passing. My genuine and heartfelt sympathy is extended.

I was privileged to know him as both client and friend. He will be remembered by me all my days.
