Not sure what to say?

Uncle Jim Never forgotten and always resepcted and loved.

I think he will always be remembered not only for all he did for our state but for just being always a gentlemen in every thing he did

Uncle Jim was the mentor that taught me the fun of the outdoors and turkey hunting in Missouri!

Many fond memories of a great uncle, friend and mentor. He was a wonderful relative for me to relate to and bring back many good Mathewson Memories!

Our thoughts and prayers are with your entire family at this time of grief. As friends and neighbors of Chris and Margo, we especially think of you at this tender time.

He was a great friend to our military. And was always willing to help. He was an even greater friend to Missouri and to all the people he represented. I always enjoyed his visits to our bookstore. What a wonderful person he was. He will be missed greatly.

My very first job was working for Jim and Doris at Leroy's steakhouse as a busboy. A good guy and very nice man. My condolences to Dave,Jamie,Steve and Carol.

It was a pleasure to have known both Jim and Doris. My sympathy to the family.

My thoughts and prayers go out to family. Jim was a very special man I always enjoyed taking care of him and Doris at the hospital. He will be missed in this community and the whole state. I dont think Jim ever knew a stranger and I'm thankful to count him as a friend
