Jim loved sports and had dreamed of playing professional baseball. He was an avid White Sox and Bears fan. Cars were always an important part of his life and he owned several special ones including the 2008 Bullitt Mustang. As the ultimate Beatles fan, Jim thoroughly enjoyed touring Liverpool during their British Isles cruise in 2015. His was a life well lived and he leaves behind many wonderful memories that will live on for all that knew and loved him.

A Memorial Mass followed by military honors will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, July 7, 2018, at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, 9300 W. 167th St., Orland Hills, IL 60487.

Not sure what to say?

Lynn, I just happened upon this today, and even though it has been a while, I just wanted to let you know that Hal and I are so very sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. We miss seeing you and Jim at St. John and also your sweet mom.

Our son, Tim's, wedding

9/26/18 - I am so very, very sad to hear the father of our son, Tim, passed away. He was my first love and we had many good years together. Jim was a generous, loving man, and I am heartbroken not to have known of his passing until this late date. My condolences to Lynn and to my son, Tim.

With loving memories,
Christine (Vandrey) Stoklosa

Lynn,
I met Jim while serving on Women Helping Women Committee when you were Chair, and I think the year before that as well. We had dinner at the same table one year, and John and I remember Jim from that evening.
I knew you had moved to IN but appreciate all the services to our community from your family!
Blessings and grace to you with this tremendous loss,
Donna and John Crawford
