Not sure what to say?

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

I worked with Jim at Travelers years ago; along with Jim Miller, Lou Gibbens and Raleigh Fontenot. They were all going to law school at night. I will never forget that after he became an attorney Jim helped me pro bono when I needed help.

We remember him well as the very good friend of our late brother Wilfrid M. Beauford. I also remember him when I served as Foreman of the Grand Jury here in Jefferson for his recommendation to Judge Zacharias. He hung out in our house on Sundays many times with my brother and other friends. We will send at donation in Jim's memory to the Louisiana Lions Camp at Leesville which our father co-founded, Love to Bebe, James and Amanda and all.

I am so sorry for the loss of the patriarch of the family. Obviously an outstanding man

For Amanda and Family,
I have fond memories of Jim when I worked with him on legal cases for Jefferson Parish. He always had a different perspective on the cases and life in general, and I always enjoyed talking with him. My heart and my prayers go out to you all. Love, Susan Bretz

I had no idea how "adventurous" he was in his early years. He was a great friend. He provided insightful guidance both professionally as well as personally. Please accept my deepest condolences. I will miss him. We live too far away to attend the services, but we are there in spirit.

Jim will be greatly missed by all the boys with whom he worked out with at Chateau Golf & Country Club in Kenner, LA both while he resided in Kenner & when he was in town after moving to Derma. My big regret is he never got to finish "his adventures" story. Those that I do know about were both amazing & entertaining !!

A sad, very sad day when he passed.

Bebe, Jimmy, Amanda,
Barbara and I were so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. May God bless you and your family and provide comfort to all of you in this trying time. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.
