May, James W. Age 76, of Edina. Beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend. Founder of Advantek, Inc. He was esteemed and loved by many friends and business associates worldwide and cherished as an ethical and talented entrepreneur. He was an avid life-long boater, captaining many boating adventures with family and friends worldwide. His kindness and wonderful sense of humor made him a bright star in many lives. Survived by wife of 50 years, Eva; son, Jeff (Colleen); daughter, Elaine; grandson, Tyler; brother, Gary (Judy); and many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Memorial service Thursday Sept. 4, at 4 PM at St. Martin's by-the- Lake Episcopal Church, 2801 Westwood Road, Minnetonka Beach. Celebration of Jim's life immediately after the service and into the evening. Visitation Wednesday, Sept. 3 from 4-7 PM at: Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel 952-920-3996 West 50th St. & Hwy 100

Wendell and I wish to give you our sympathy and prayers in your loss. I have such fond memories of working with Jim at Advantek. He touched every one he met. He will be missed.

My sister Judy told me of the sad news today. I have happy memories of fun holiday dinners spent with Jim and Eva, Jeff and Elaine; especially when I and my brother were young. Jim was such a fascinating person. My thoughts and prayers are with Eva, Jeff and Elaine. God bless you.

Although I only knew Jim for a short time, I enjoyed his honesty and friendly nature. I often heard from many business associates about how he had been a wonderful person to work with. He will be greatly missed. I am honored to have known Jim. My deepest sympathy to his family.
