Dear Suzy,

I felt honored to be a part of Jim's funeral Mass. The homily and the eulogy were so enlightening. They highlighted Jim's life in such a way that it appeared he had a calling to do what he did..not just the public health work but every moment. He affirmed something beautiful in the universe and there is every reason to be filled with sorrow in his absence.

Also, of course, his life is telling us to go and do likewise in our own ways.

It is so difficult for...

My sincere condolences to Jim's family in this difficult time. I will miss him deeply as a friend. We got to see each other three or four times a year at meetings over the past 15 years or so, and it was always great to see and spend time with Jim. We would end up talking family and Philly sports and inevitably laugh our heads off. He truly was a great person.

My deepest condolences to you on the passing of your dad. Your father will be sorely missed in the office. I will keep you, your dad and your family in my prayers.

Dear Suzy,
It's hard to find the words to express the sorrow we feel for your tremendous loss. Jim was one of the great ones and 8 years just wasn't long enough. You are in our thoughts and hearts.
Love, Pam and Barrett Goodspeed

Nicole, Tristan and Suzy-
It was good to see you guys over the last two days. May the memories held deep within your heart help soothe you through the hard times. Jim was such an amazing and fun person to know. We are lucky to have our paths cross even if only for a short time.
With Love,
Aleks & Derrick

I was sorry to miss Jim at our 40th, St. Leo's School reunion. One of my fond memories, and great stories to tell about growing up in Philadelphia, was at a time I was playing with Jim near his house. My hopes and prayers are with his family.

My heart goes out to Jim's family during this difficult time. Like many others, I count myself so fortunate to have been his friend. I will never forget this warm, charismatic and amazing man, whom I deeply miss.
