Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to just come by this sad news of Jim's passing, I spent many years in the past chatting on the SSB with Jim and also Ed across the big pond also have very nice memories of the family visits to Ireland he was a real good family man and anyone who knew him was blessed by that.we will say a prayer for him and the family here in Donegal Ireland.

My name is Tom Lundy; Jimmy and I shared great-grandparents; so I am second cousin. Hello to Eddie and Terry. We met in NYC at Eddie's wedding. Jimmy called my brother Dan last year. PLease email me at [email protected]. or phone 302-683-1196-- Wilmington, Delaware. Would love to hear from any of you family. I am interested in the Burkhouse family history.

I was a former and a proud 6th grader to be in a wonderful classroom at CFJ with Mr. McAndrew. He taught us how to treat each other, those with disabilities and to be kind to one another. In addition to teaching us all the other formal subjects. He will be admirably remembered.

I am so sorry to hear about the death of one of UE's greatest teachers. He was my 6th teacher at CFJ and taught me not only the standard subjects, but also took time out to teach me Gaelic. He inspired me to love math and to love life. He was truly a gentleman and will be missed. Enjoy the memories. Peace be with you and your family.

Mike, Beth and all the McAndrew family, We send our sympathy, love and prayers... please know we are here if you need us.

Patrick and Family,
Our condolences on the loss of your Father. Hold onto your memories and take solace that he is reunited with your Mother. Our prayers are with you and your entire family at this time of loss.

Your dad will be missed by many people..we moved here many years ago and soon st. ambrose became our parish. We sat by your mom and dad, and I always loved how they made everybody feel ..welcomed..what a nice family..I was sad to see this today but know that our prayers are with you and your family...shelly and wayne wilson

I am saddened to hear of Mr. McAndrew's passing. He was a friend and colleague of my father's. They hunted and fished together many times. I have some nice memories of those times...many early mornings in the house on Liberty for coffee with "Big Jim" as my dad called him. My mom still has two of his carvings displayed in her house.

Please accept condolences from the entire Palka family to yours.

Mr McAndrew was my 6th grade teacher at CFJ. My siblings and I were all lucky to have him and have fond memories of our year in his class. From the softball games, to the mock trial, to making "Millie Meter", and the wonderful books and stories he read us. Touching so many lives...what a wonderful way to live! He will be missed.
