James E. McBride

I heard about Jim's passing the other day. Memories of growing up in East Rochester came immediately to mind, and how another admired adult from my years there has passed on. The Mcbride household was always a welcoming home to the kids of my generation. Many Friday and Saturday nights were spent there around the kitchen table, or watching tv. I'm sure it was Jim and Joanne's way of helping to keep us out of trouble, or at least in less trouble. Two memories of Jim really stand out....

Cheryl, Susan and the rest of Jim's family.
I have many wonderful memories of Jim from the East Rochester Baptist Church and more recently of him when he stopped into Red's Shoe Barn occassionaly. He was always such a wonderfully happy man who lived life to its fullest. May God give you peace in this time of need.

I did his hair for many years at Hair Sense and always enjoyed his sense of humor and his many stories. I am sure he wil be missed.I am so sorry for your loss. DEbbie
