May he rest in peace.
His memories will live on forever.

To the McCaffrey Family: My sincerest sympathy to you on the loss of Maj McCaffrey. His wonderful teaching style helped us to learn difficult concepts in a pleasant learning environment. I took a year long critical care nursing course from Maj McCaffrey as part of the 339th several years ago. He was an amazing individual who will be remembered fondly by all of us. I hope that you find some comfort in knowing that Maj McCaffrey educated many health care workers and in them his positive...

Mrs. McCaffrey and Family,

My deepest Sympathy and sincere apology for what has transpired this past week. I also served with your husband from the active duty side of the house in Bagram during his tenure in Afghanistan.

I will never forget him as well as everyone else in the 339th. He is the man who kept us straight in the EMT and Sick Call. A man with faith and trust in us all. A man dedicated to the mission out there and a man of true faith in church. He will...

To the McCaffrey Family,

I would like to express my deepest sympathy for your loss and my thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

As a fellow instructor, I got to know Jim while teaching prehospital care classes. I will miss him and I know there are many others whose lives he has touched will miss him too.

Jim, You are the reason I am here today, You were my teacher, mentor, adoptive Dad, and friend. Thank you for all that you have done for me and the rest of the world. I will truly miss you. God Bless.

I will truly Jim. We spent time together in Afghanistan and worked together to keep freedom free. CPT Regina Long 339th CSH

I served with Jim in the EMT in Bagram. I can't tell you how shocked and sorry I am to hear that he died. He was a great teacher, nurse, and soldier. I will miss him. My wife,Ann,and I both send our condolences to you. Even though I never had the opportunity to meet his family, I feel as if I know them by working with him.

My deepest sympathies to the McCaffrey family. It was my great honor to have served with Jim in the 339th & to have been lucky enough to have had him for an instructor for ACLS on numerous occassions. He was a wonderful man & will be greatly missed.
