Very sorry for your loss. The man was a true true legend and I learned a lot from him. Both as a toolmaker and a Knucklehead mechanic. Wish I could have learned more.

WE ARE VERY SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. WE WORKED WITH JIM AT THE DEALERSHIP FOR YEARS AND HAVE SUCH GOOD MEMORIES OF THOSE TIMES.

i would like to first offer my condolances to the whole mccauley family as a fan and friend of jims from over 30 years ago when he rebuilt my 1950 harley engine at manis h-d in bpt i had no idea how talented this man really was i opened fast lane cycles in stamford ct also in 1983 and went drag racing harley sportsters with vito sabato joe miceli and jims friend andrew rosa from long island who helped get into the record books with his big twin shovelhead he will never be replaced and we all...

Truley saddened to her of Big Jim's passing. I remember getting a garden tractor from him when I was about 10. I drove that tractor EVERYWHERE!!
