I am sorry to hear about Rosie. We had some great talks at the mailbox when Jim was my mailman. He always left me with a smile on my face.

I remember when my brother Dutch started hanging out with this new kid who wasn't from our old neighborhood. Then I got to know Jim "Rosie". When I came home from basic training (Army) at Christmas Dutch and Rosie took me to see Cazzie play Jeff Mullins and Duke at Yost. Of course M won and we sat in front of Ron Kramer! Went to few away games at MSU and NW and they were always going. Countless time on Berkley parking cars, scalping tickets and hanging out. I think there was beer! Rose...

So sad to hear about the passing of "Rosie" Jim. Ron Hatto, Jim and I had some great times at the horse tracks. Although I have not seen Jim in quite some time I always considered him a good friend. I know you and Ron are sharing some good laughs together right now. Thoughts and Prayers to your friends and family.

Jeannette and I were saddened to learn of Rosie's passing.
My early memories of Rosie was as a teenager living near Almendinger Park he would stand behind the backstop watching our softball team practice. He would beg to catch batting practice. Given the chance he went in and handeled our pitchers just fine. The kid was fearless as we had some pitchers that could flat bring it.
Later we always parked at Rosie & Kim's on Michigan game days. Always a fun time with great...

We had some pitchers who could flat out bring it. The kid handeled it just fine.
Later we always parked at Rosie & Kim's on Michigan game days. Always a lot of fun with great people.
We last saw them was in Mount Pleasant at the Green Spot that he...

It is a very sad day for me, as the Hatto and the McCleery families have been intertwined since before my birth. My thoughts and prayers go out to Kim & Scott, may God strengthen you two in these sad times. Jim was a one of a kind special friend to me and many, many others. I put up what I consider a couple of great photos of Jim and hope to gather with all of Jim's friends soon to remember him. Sincerely, Jeff Hatto
