Not sure what to say?

Colin, Colin, Saddened to learn of your loss. Prayers assured.

It was with profound sadness that I learned of the passing of Dr James McComiskey. As our family Eye Doctor, he gave my late father, Claude A Zeringue Jr, the invaluable gifts of sight, comfort, humor, and friendship. My father was always profoundly grateful for Dr McComiskey's dedicated efforts and skills in preserving what was left of his eyesight. Please know that through those efforts and skills, my father enjoyed a quality of sight that had eluded him for most of his life. I join my...

I was so saddened to hear of Dr. McComiskey's passing. He became my eye doctor when I needed eye surgery as a two year old in 1962. My mother and I (Mrs. Allen C. Eschete') would make frequent trips from Houma to New Orleans to see him. He was truly an exceptional man and doctor, and I consider myself blessed to have been his patient. A dear and loving Dr. who took care of me since I was 18 months old. (I'am now 28 yrs. old) Will be missed deeply. We always joked about my patient number being #4. He was the best doctor.I Always wanted contacts, and could never get them b/c they didnt make any to fit, and oneday i was in for an exam, Dr. McComisky said , Amy I think i have contacts for you. I was all excited to get them. Of course they didnt last very long. I would tear them and I couldnt even take a 5 minute nap they would...

The staff and myself are so sorry to hear of your family's loss. Our prayers are with your family.

My husband and I would like to express our deepest sympathy on the occasion of the death of Dr. McComiskey. We treasure our contacts with all his children in the various educational settings.
Sincerely, Gary and Marie-Louise Mannina
