Dear McDermott family, I am saddened to hear of Coach Mac´s passing. Your family has held a special place in my heart from the time I moved crosstown" to become a Dragon. My heart aches for you all, and my prayers are yours.. RIP Coach. May God´s Grace drape you all and provide comfort during this difficult time. Love you all, Tim

my brothers dave and ron played for Mac....he was intense but in love with football....made men out of all of us...earth's loss and heaven's gain.....only as we got older did we come to appreciate his intensity.....he is a legend not only in football but passion for life...I got to visit with him twice in the last 5 years--he made a difference in my life.

What a beautiful tribute to a great man....He was blessed to be surrounded by a loving family every day of his life....my sincere condolences....may memories be eternal....sending love to all of you...Anna, Maureen, Pat, John, and to you dear Eula...I hold you and your family in my heart and in my prayers

We are so sorry to hear Eula. Our thoughts and prayers to you and your family.
