I very fortunately met Astronaut McDivitt briefly in Tucson a few years ago at the NovaSpace Gallery on Prince Rd, just by happenstance when I went in to pick up a framed space-art print I had ordered. He had been speaking a while with the gallery owner, Sally Poor, and was just about to leave the shop. Sally introduced us, and I shook Jim's hand. I admire the pioneering work Jim did as Commander on Gemini 4 with the late Astronaut Ed White, and as Commander on Apollo 9, important missions...

Dear Judy: Have been emailing you and was thinking something sad must have happened when I didn't hear back. So sorry to see that Jim passed away and I am guessing that you are very sad and busy right now. Please know that our heartfelt sympathy is with you and your and Jim's families.
