I worked with Jim, he was a wonderful person. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

What a wonderful, kind man to have as your first boss! Jim and Alice were exceptional people and I have always had fond memories of them. He was a rare individual and will always be remembered for the gentle man he was.

I worked with Jim at Gulf Life many years ago and he was a wonderful person. I know his family will miss him terribly. May God wrap his loving arms around each of you during this time and know that He is always there.

As a business associate of Jim's, it has been well over 15 years since I last saw him. Yet when I read the news of Jim's passing, a very clear and animated image of him immediately came to my mind: a very engaging smile infecting all those around him, a hearty laugh happily filling the room, and the soothing tones of Jim's voice illuminating his affable personality.
