Fr. McEnery, what a character! He was simply the best. My husband and I were blessed to be married by him, in the same church where he baptized me (St. Mary's in Milton.) I will always remember singing and playing clarinet for Christmas Eve masses with my dad Robert Berger, who was the church organist for 50 years, and my mom Ruth Bingham Berger who sang in the choir. My parents were also married by Fr. McEnery at St. Mary's and he was a wonderful part of all of our family memories. Rest...
