Jim was a wonderful man that was always willing to take the time to help me out or give me advice. He was one of three camp fathers for me growing up and he taught me many lessons over the years. Jim will be missed and always remembered.

I will never forget him building new countertops for my kitchen and installing them. He and Laurie also disassembled a piano and helped in numerous ways when I was getting ready to sell my house.

Jim was a great friend and mentor. One of the most influential people in my life. I was just a "kid" when management at Kemper said, give him to Jim, we'll see what he's got. (Or at least how Jim tells it.) That was 37 years ago. All these years later he is atill the key influence on how I do business and how I treat others in business. He taught me how to act smart, not just be smart. And he encouraged me that I could accomplish anything I wanted. My wife and I have been so fortunate to be...

Jim was a very special person. His warmth and generosity were evident from our first meeting nearly forty years ago. "Gentleman Jim" is whom he was to us. Always there to lend a hand, tell an interesting story, crack jokes and share a cup of coffee. His instant rapport with children was magical to witness! He was the best of men; we are thankful for the wonderful memories and for his friendship. He has left a hole in our hearts. Condolences and love to his wonderful wife, Laurie, and all the...

Laurie and family, So sorry to hear of Jim's passing, but here's a little story that I hope might bring a smile to your face. Every time I think of Jim I can't help but remember riding along to pick him up with the "boys" - Cedar, Catfish, Weismore and a couple more. We were almost to his house and we went off the road into ditch. Of course we had a bottle of Tango or some gut rot s#$* we were passing around. Well some one thought we might get into trouble and threw the bottle out into the...

Jimbo was a great man. I can remember back in the day (30+ years ago) I lived with the McFalls. I would try to beat Jimbo home and I would sit in his favorite chair and wait. He would get all spun up I would laugh knowing my day was complete. Great memories with a great and amazing family. You will be missed Jimbo. Condolences from the entire Robideau family..
