Dear Tim and Family, I am so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. I remember so fondly the frenetic and fun activities [especially Trick or Treating] on Scio St.,as a kid. My Grandma Burns lived around the corner on Roe Ave. I did not know your dad well, but I am so thankful for his service to our country and his lifetime of public service as a teacher. You and your Family must be so proud of his accomplished life. Celebrate the good times! I will keep you all in my prayers. Sincerely, ...

Your Father was my eighth grade history teacher at Horseheads. i remember his knowledge of New York State history. I am a VETERAN like your DAD. I am thankful and proud for knowing your DAD and his service record.

Tim & Family,

You were fortunate to have the your father for so many years. I am sure his pride in his family was boundless. Remember and enjoy reminiscing with your family.

Tim & family,

Sorry to hear of your loss. I will keep you all in my prayers.

To the McGill family.Mr. McGill was truly a great human being, American and family man .I respected and liked your father as much as any person I ever met in Elmira. His honesty and integrity helped make him who he was, a great man. He will be missed. I will light a candle for his soul when I go to the Grotto at the University of Notre Dame this October. God Bless your family.

May the memories of your dad keep him alive your hearts. Joe, see you soon, hopefully.
