Not sure what to say?

Dear McGrath Family,
I was saddened to hear of the tragedy that took Jim much to early. He was a class ahead of me at Spellman and in reading all the articles surrounding his death, it is apparent that the same lovable Jim from High School grew into a remarkable person with all the same qualities that made him so special and unforgettable in school. I can truly relate to the comments made about him in the papers. As I read about his death in complete denial, it soon became apparent...

On behalf of the entire staff here in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at the Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center, I send our heartfelt sorrow at the passing of Jim McGrath.

We remember a devoted father and husband, who was always so dear and gracious during his son Ben's illness.

We are so deeply saddened by the loss of a most delightful, caring, gentle-man.

Our thoughts and sympathy's are with Margaret and her family. There just are no words to...

To the entire McGrath Family,

I would like to send our deepest sympathies to your family. Jim was a wonderful man & I will never forget him. He was a customer of ours when we owned Franklin Small Engines in Brockton. He always made me smile even when things got rough in business & we were forced to close a 3rd Generation business. He took the time to sit & talk with me, trying to come up with a soloution that would help us out in our best interests. He was a man who helped alot of...

I met Jim through my good friend Beth. He was always upbeat and was such a wonderful father and husband. I'm sure there will be a hole left in the lives of everyone who knew him. My thoughts and prayers are with his entire family at this time.

My deepest smypathies to your family at your loss. Jim was a great guy and a fun boss. He was always encouraging and kindhearted.
All the memories of Mom (Corliss) working at the store and the close ties of our families are balm to the spirit.
May your faith surround you in your time of sorrow. Remember to lean on friends and family. They are there for you.
I wish I could have come down to be with you. Please know I was there in spirit with my brothers and sisters.

Many...

Margaret (Peggy) and family - My thoughts and prayers are with you. I'm sure you will treasure your many memories together. Take care of yourself and your family.

Dearest Margaret and all the Family; So sorry I couldn't make it to the services to hug you, so this is the next-best thing. We are all in a state of shock at the loss of such an incredibly good human being in such a random and tragic way. Peggy, so you will always be to us (tho it annoys you), I called my brother Tom (Hooker) in NC and he was heartsick at the news. He and Julie, Dan and Kevin send their condolences and their love. My mom (Mary Lou Hill) also sends her love and prayers, to...

Big Jim, we'll miss ya man!

My prayers and condolence go out to Jim’s family and his friends.
Jim’s sister Jeanne married my brother Steve. Our entire family prays that you all can endure through the sadness and grief and that your memories of Jim bring you comfort.
