James T. McGrath

(from Tom Wheat's sister) I met Mr. McGrath only once, but enjoyed the conversation we had about the differences between Boston and Chicago. He made me feel very much at home in a room full of strangers. I will remember his sparkling eyes and his warm smile--and the day that I, too, felt welcomed into his special family. I returned home to Chicago and told my Mom and Dad that Tom had joined a terrific family and that they would have loved spending time with his new father-in-law.
