I knew Jim as a member of the Amateur Radio 3.944 mhz. radio net. Jim's accounts of his experiences in aviation and electronics were always of interest. He clearly was a man of considerable accomplishment.

Jim and I had many conversations over the years via Amateur Radio and shared emails from the very inception of computers.
