I knew Jim as a member of the Amateur Radio 3.944 mhz. radio net. Jim's accounts of his experiences in aviation and electronics were always of interest. He clearly was a man of considerable accomplishment.

Johanna and I extend our deepest sympathy and condolences to the McGregor family. Jim and I had many conversations over the years via Amateur Radio and shared emails from the very inception of computers. He later flew up to Syracuse to meet me and that began many years of seeing each other at Reunions and a visit to his home. He and Bonnie are two wonderful and generous people.
