Jim was one of a kind and I'm so honored to have been apart of his life. He truly was my grandpa at work and I'm glad I got to spend the time I did along side him learning about his family and his stories about when he was younger. He was the funniest and kindest person and always had a big smile on his face.

Tammy, Seth, and Kristi - I am brokenhearted to hear about Jim. What a wonderful soul. I am so honored to have known him. How much he loved and adored all of you. It's a joy to know a soul like that and I share your sorrow. Life isn't the same but is definitely better having known him. May you find comfort in God, family and friends, and the legacy he has left behind.

It is difficult to find the words to say how we felt about Jim. He was more than a brother-in-law. Jim was a loving and devoted family man who will be greatly missed by all those who knew him. To our McKay family may you find peace and comfort through the love and support of family and friends.

Tammy, I have been thinking about you and praying for you and your family non-stop since I heard about Jim. My hear breaks for all of you. Jim was a wonderful guy ... so outgoing and willing to help regardless of what we needed. I was with about 30 Sears retirees yesterday and we were all saying how glad we were that we got a chance to see Jim just a couple of weeks ago at the Northtown store closing. I'm glad I got to hug him one last time. I pray for strength and peace for all of you!
