James Leonard Mckeithan

I just found out about Jim’s passing today. Jim worked for me during our combat deployment in support of Operations Enduring/Iraqi Freedom.
COL Patti Tackett connected me with him literally a week before he was originally scheduled to retire in 2001 to fill out our USAR support team at Third Army to deploy to Operation Enduring Freedom/Iraqi Freedom. He gladly and unselfishly agreed to postpone his retirement.

Jim was a dear friend, colleague and special advisor. I will miss our conversations and his jokes and stories.
His integrity, inspiration and dedication will always stand tall in my book

Jim was one of my dads closest friends, and I always enjoyed the time I got to spend with him. He always provided great advice and was such a joy to be around. I pray that he and his family are all at peace.
