Not sure what to say?

I just found out about Jim's death. My condolences to his family and my sincerest apologies for not attending the services. As the former personnel officer for the 109th FA, I was one of the few people in the unit to know about Jim's condition and I worked with him at length to fit his military duties around his medical care. He was a good soldier and friend. Again, I am sorry I didn't know about the funeral; the least I can do is send the donation in lieu of flowers in Jim's honor.

Jim you will be greatly missed by your brothers and sisters of AFSCME Local 2456. with deepest condolences to his family,

Della A. Selner, President

Jim was a great influence on me as a lad. He and his brother John were the older guys in troop 81 who kept us in line but always kept us laughing. A gem of a man that all these years later I hold dear to my heart. Too young from where I'm standing but it's not my call. Thanks Jim. All the best to your loved ones. Terry

My deepest condolences go out to the McKinnon family. I will deeply miss seeing Jim at Guard Drills and especially miss seeing him at 1-109th FA events. He was a great friend who helped me through some difficult things. He was definitely someone you could count on. May he rest in peace.

My deepest sympathy to all Jim's friends and family. I graduated high school with "Hobbs" and I can say with sincerity he was one of the nicest and kindest people I have ever known. May he rest in peace.

I was so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and Doris at this time. I met Jim about 3 years ago at PSP and we really hit it off. His sense of humor would make me chuckle on days I really needed it most. I'll Miss you Jim. R.I.P.
