Love is the highest form of intelligence and James spent a good deal of time and his life defending and educating African American students. I really don't think he cared about any thing more than that. I guess it is like attending church seven days a week. He was, indeed, mischievous, a risk taker, commended any room he walked into, yet, no one really seemed to look deeply into what his actions were, aside from his efforts in Alabama he lived in Brooklyn, NY.
