James Michael "Jamie" McLean

I'm so sorry for your loss. I just recently found out about Jamie and am at a complete loss of words and can only imagine what you guys are going through. Jamie was one of my first friends I made when I briefly attended Beaverton High School. He was always kind and made a lasting impression, everybody loved him dearly. I am so glad to have had met Jamie and hope that he is at a better place now. My prayers are with you guys through this tough time. - Muneeb

I am so sorry to hear about Jamie. There is nothing I can say that would help you, but remember that whose whom the gods love die young.

I am so sorry for your loss, and hope that your son can rest happily. I didn't know him, saw his obituary in the paper, and I want to thank you for publishing information on his mental illness. My brother is schizophrenic, and I and a lot of my family have severe depression. I hope that through open discussion of mental illness and through an increased awareness of it, that we can learn how to help alleviate suffering from it. I really am sorry for the suffering you and your son...
