The funeral will be Friday from Lawrence A. Gabriel Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 74 N. Main St., Carbondale, with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Rose of Lima Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Griffin Pond Animal Shelter to honor his best friends, his dogs, Rylee and Hunter.

I've known Bopper since high school when we shot pool, played golf and cards together ...every time we got together he would make you laugh with his witty remarks and stories... fortunately we got to reconnect the past summers at Panorama GC in our Wed matches.. Bopper was a good friend and great guy to know that has left us much too soon... deepest sympathy to Donna and Family
