Not sure what to say?

When I was a green engineer trainee for VDOT many years ago, I was blessed to be assigned to Mac’s team for a construction season. I remember Mac to be a humble & kind man. He was always happy to teach others, & I learned a lot about VDOT, about construction inspection, & about people too. I remember, too, that Mac liked to talk about his wife and family. It was obvious that he loves you very much. Please know that I am praying for you.
May you know the grace & comfort of the Lord Jesus...

Dear Family, So sorry to hear of the sudden passing of your dear loved one. Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you. May God wrap his loving arms around you and provide peace and comfort during this difficult time.

Dreama, we are so sorry for the sudden death of your dad. You have our deepest sympathy. Lowell & Dorma Yeatts

All my heart and love goes out to Christine and the whole family. May God be with you all through this difficult time and may he bring you peace in the days to come. Heaven is even sweeter now that my Momma and James are there to watch over the rest of us. All my love until we can all be together again...

I was so sorry to hear the news about James. He was our neighbor for many years and did so much for my parents thru so many years. His smile was like a burst of sunlight when he entered a room. Though he had a some what quiet appearance, he was a jokester to many that know him. All my prayers and thoughts are with each of you during this very hard time.

Christine and family,
I am sorry to hear about James. His smile and laughter always lit up the store when he would stop by over the years. He was such a kind individual who was loved and respected by so many. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this sad time.

I will miss you James and I know my dad, Ab, will miss you very much. He and you were very close. We love you and we will miss you.

"Mac" was my mentor when I was on VDOT's training program in the mid-1970's. He was a warm, considerate, intelligent, and humorous man to work with and he put his faith in everyone's ability to add to a team effort. I think of my time with VDOT with Mac on projects as one of greatest satisfaction because he taught you a lot about the value of positive human interaction. My thoughts, heart, and prayers are with his family.
