Not sure what to say?

Mr. McPartlin was a dear man. He taught the newly formed humanities program at Syosset HS. I remember him as a kind man.

He was my English Teacher in High School, Syosset class of 1964 and my favorite teacher of all time. He wrote in my yearbook that I would be the hub of any organization. As it turned out, I was in many Units during my 28 years of service and I was the hub many times. I was living out of state in 2012 and missed all notifications reference his passing. I found out last week about his passing so many years ago. We will miss him greatly.....

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Mr McP. He was a wonderful person to have known as a student and as part of the community. He taught me a great deal

I agree with all previous laudatory remarks about Jim. Not surprised as he was a classmate in Corpus Christi school in Mineola. Great and kind youngster, and continued as a grown man.Rest in Peace from one Mc to another.Condolences and prayers to his beloved family.

Love & prayers to the McPartlin Family ~

We remember Mr. McP with fondness, as a beloved teacher and friend. He was truly an example of how one life, well lived, can profoundly touch so many others.
Our thoughts are with you ~

Dad, your silence and Being enriched my life and made me think differently and better each day. I loved telling you I Love You because I know you always knew what Love meant. Timmy

Mr. McPartlin was such a wonderful neighbor to our family and especially healpful to my grandmother, always being there when she needed any help. The whole McPartlin family is in my prayers at this sad time, but you should smile at all of the wonderful memories that you have of your dad - a wonderful man!

Teaching came quite naturally to Jim. He was an original; humbly and generously utilizing his talents in a seamless yet dynamic manner to inspire thought. God bless his soul.

I graduated from Syosset High School in 1971 and I have wonderful memories of Mr. McPartlin. He was a gifted teacher and a fine man. How lucky we all were! My deepest condolences to his family at this difficult time.
