Not sure what to say?

Mr Meeks was an inspiration to everyone. He was a great mentor and friend.

Mike was a great friend and mentor to so many people in Las Cruces for so many years. The world is poorer today, because of his loss. But heaven is richer.

Mike will definitely be missed. His great smile and laugh were always enjoyed by me and others. He was a very good client of mine for many years with his pets, as he really loved and cared for animals.

DEAR FAMILY OF JAMES MICHAEL MEEKS, WE ARE SO SADDEN BY YOUR LOSS. HE WAS A GREAT PERSON TO KNOW. I KNEW HIM FROM HIS BEGINNING A NMSU. IN LATER YEARS HE LOVED TO SEND ME DUMB BLONDE JOKES WHICH I REALLY ENJOYED. HE WAS A VERY CARING, KIND PERSON. HE DID SO MUCH FOR JANE LUSK SHORE, A RETIRED TEACHER FROM GADSDEN HIGH AND HIS NEIGHBOR. MIKE WAS ALSO BLESSED TO HAVE CHUCK KANDLE FOR A NEIGHBOR. HE VISITED MIKE DAILY AND KEPT MANY OF US UPDATED. MIKE LOVED HIS FAMILY.
MAY GOD...

35 years of the greatest friendship I've ever known leaves a gigantic hole in my life.
Rest my friend. You've earned it.
I love you.

My condolences to Mikes family.
Mike was a great friend, a good man and he will be missed by all that were fortunate enough to know him.
The wolrd is just s little less right without Mike's smile and good nature. Go in peace my friend you deserve it.

Our greatest Aggie has gone before us. He helped make NMSU a great institution. Guide us home Mike, when our time comes. If you are there, we will know we are in the right place! Thank you for all you gave, all you did, for loving all of us. You are THE BEST and will never be forgotten!

My sincerest condolences to Mike's family. I was privileged to meet Mike here at NMSU. He was such a nice person and was always willing to help a person. My prayers and thoughts are with his family during their time of grief. He will be greatly missed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.
