Although it will soon be a year since his passing, Jim left his indelible mark - this kind and gentle man will never be forgotten!

To know Jim was to love Jim. We were so fortunate to be able to do both when he became part of our family through my sister, Julia. He and Julia were like two peas in a pod. They found a happiness unique to them about six years ago and our entire family rejoiced with them through get-togethers in Michigan with our combined families, as well as in Florida and Georgia, in addition to a most memorable road trip. So thankful for the weekend in Hilton Head with Jim and Julie. Recounting nearly fifty years worth of adventures from Michigan to Georgia, from Maine to Florida brought much laughter. I am thankful too for his friendship all these years. Our brothers-in-law special group will be poorer for his loss. I will surely miss him. My condolences to his family to whom I will send more personal notes. Rest In Peace, Jim.

Jim was a member of the Holland Rotary Club for a number of years. He was a significant help and resource for the club to create an online presence and move to electronic communication. Thank you, Jim!

Jim was so loved by myself and our entire family; have known him since he was 21 years old and always admired his integrity, intelligence and warm demeanor and especially the care he showed the elderly, especially his aging parents and in laws. I could not have asked for a better brother-in-law. So many precious memories throughout the years.
