Not sure what to say?

Remember Mr. Melbar so very well. A fixture at Morgana Park, and the "other park",where we practiced hard for a tough-nosed football coach called,Marty P. He used to pick -up us smaller guys and toss us at incoming fireballs running the football real hard! Always had a smile on his face, nothing but positive feedback from Mr. Melbar. He lived, breathed sports. Played ball with Mike on several teams. He will surely be missed! My condolences to the entire Melbar clan.

From Little League days to the present, I could always count on Jim for a smile.
Though I can't be at Mass my prayers are with you all in celebrating his life.

To the Melbar Family, We are sorry for your loss. Memories of Morgana Little League with Jim preparing the fields with the green van and Sal Kehoe on the back end of the drag. Those were good times. Especially enjoyed all his stories and jokes. Whenever you met up with Jim, he always made you smile. Rest in Peace Jim, you will be missed.

The best friend you could ever ask for. God father to my daughter Therese Louise. Step father to Don Alan Matzdorf

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

To the family of "Melford" - may your memories and God's love comfort you.
To "Melford" - may you RIP of about a day. Then I fully expect you to have a joke and a smile for everyone in Heaven. Your laughter and your ability to make everyone around you laugh is your legacy. Now go have a beer with my dad and annoy my mom.

Rest in peace Jim,,, my mom and me

Jim will be dearly missed. He lit up a room when he entered. His jokes and stories brought laughter to all. I can't say I ever saw him angry or with a scowl on his face. He loved his family, his children his grandchildren and everyone elses children. He boxed, taught little league and so many other things for his family and community. He did what needed to be done to support and raise his family even when odds where stacked up against him. He succeeded. Job well done Mr. Melbar. God dont make...
