James Melfi Jr.

I very much enjoyed being with Mr. Melfi in the dining room at North Ridge where he shared the dining table with my father, Ernie. He would tell me many stories and would share his smile and jokes with me. He often complimented me on the care my father received, and I would share a smile, a pat on the back, and assistance with his walker so he would leave the table safely. Mr. Melfi was a loving man, and I am glad for the time we had to share together until Ernie passed on February 27. Now...

I worked at the Physical Science Laboratory/NMSU in purchasing in the James Melfi era. He earned great respect from everyone.

Jim was a great guy and a very good friend for many years. A great loss for all.....
