Not sure what to say?

Dr. Fox was so sweet. He diagnosed my beloved cat with heartworm disease and I was devastated. He gave me a hug and consoled me, and assured me to not think the worst. It really meant a lot to me that he showed such kindness. He didn't HAVE to be so kind. I always knew that my pets were going to be loved when they came to see Dr. Fox. I was deeply saddened to hear of his passing. He was a wonderful man. I'm sure his family and friends take comfort in knowing that he is in a place where now he...

Fox lived across the street from my wife and me when we wrer students at Auburn. Lived for a number of years in the same area in Mobile. He was a wonderful friend that I will truly miss. My thoughts and prayers are with his wife and family.

Fox was a friend and always had the greatest laugh! He cared for my dear pets as if they were his. I was so saddened by his passing. A great caring doctor and trustworthy friend who will be missed by many. Cheryl Brogden

Fox was one of the kindest men I have ever come in contact with. His gentle "old shoe" personality and his wicked sense of humor were an awesome combination. He loved his wife Deb in a way that was of a very soft and caring nature that I do not believe I have ever seen before or since.
He taught his nephews how to see the world from a different perspective and I believe they are better men for having him as a mentor in their lives. We are all better people for being able to have known him....

My heart hurts. Doc Fox was my friend. He was gentle and kind with a great love for dogs and their people.

I chose Dr. metcalf as my primary vet many years ago. He was a kind and gentle man. He was so compassionate and caring. I will truly miss him.

Deeply saddened by the loss of Dr. Fox. A kind man that treated his clients and their pets as friends. Have been taking my animals to him since 1987. He and the Rehem clinic have helped me through many up's and very hard downs. Kind when I lost my husband to cancer. The people of Mobile and the animals have lost a wonderful man. He will be very missed. I am glad to have known him. Prayers to his wife and family. Sorry I am out of town and cannot be with the Rehem family at this time

Dr. Metcalf absolutely performed a miracle on Hobo's badly damaged leg after we adopted him from ARF. We will forever be grateful to a great doctor. Hobo is now 18 years old and still playing with his tennis balls but is getting feeble.

I was so saddened by the news of Dr. Fox. He was a great veterinarian and I will always remember his dog Jennie and my Maggie (who were sisters). He took great care of her. It was a privilege to know him and my prayers are with Debra and the entire clinic staff. He will be greatly missed.
