Our condolences go out to the Metcalfe family. Jim was a man that so many of us in the fire service admire. He demonstrated leadership characteristics at an early stage while somehow retaining such a humble approach. I can´t say how much of a friend Jim was to my Dad on fishing trips and for gatherings, even professionally. Jim was part of our family´s life as long as I can recall.
