Not sure what to say?

He was a great advisor. I can't think of any more decent, thoughtful and interesting person I counted on during my nonprofit career. I remember profound conversations about difficult issues; he was so smart and genuine. I miss that.

Dear Lora, My condolences on the loss of Jim to your family. My deepest connection with him was when he was on the NWHF board. He was always a very thoughtful board member who shared his experience, perspective and wisdom to the benefit of the community we served. His personal counsel to me during this time was invaluable and I remember him and you Lora very fondly. Thomas

Jim has a special spot in our hearts forever!

Lora and family- Sandy and I are deeply saddened to learn of Jim's passing. He was a special friend and we will miss him. Like all others who knew Jim, we have been blessed to have him as a friend for almost 40 years.

Thoughts to Lora & family. Humble, courageous, never judging and always helping warmly & sincerely. Such a gift to all, showing us all how to be humane and helpful at every turn.

It was an honor knowing Jim through Cary Jackson and the American Flooring Alliance. His kindness and wisdom were extraordinary qualities that benefitted all who knew him.

Sincere condolences to Jim's family from the secretary of JGSO, Portland

It was an honor to serve with him on the Modo board. He was a wonderful and curious listener, offering wise advice and warm support to all. I feel so lucky to have known him. My heart is with his family and friends as they mourn this great loss.
