James R. "Doc" Meyer

Dr. Meyer sold his beloved "Miss C" to me in 2016 and we became fast friends as I visited Paxton with my 92 year old dad and 87 year old mom for lunches. "Doc" was a kind and humble man who always had a funny story that made everyone laugh. I will miss the "Flying Farmer" who told me he flew N42714 to all the 48 states! God blessed you with a large loving family, honorable veterinary profession, and strong Catholic faith. Prayers and love from Dr. Bill, Lee Ann, Mark and Matthew Kinzler

So sorry to learn of the passing of Doc. He was our vet when we had our horse farm near Melvin. A great Christian man and a friend.

From a fellow pilot and friend, we will remember Jim. Through the International Flying Farmers organization we shared many memories and had a chance to experience God;s great wonders!!!!!! Condolences to Michelle and family which we met last summer in Eueka Springs, AK.
