Not sure what to say?

To the Mikell family and friends:
I didn't learn of Bro. Mikell's departure until late morning of 2/16. However, I heard a very moving memory of the man at the Doyle Dykes concert that evening. Doyle told the crowd of 3000 of how Godly a man was Jim Mikell and how he must now be playing his guitar before The Master. Doyle then reminisced of a song that Bro. Jim used to sing all the time. Doyle then closed the tribute to Bro. Mikell by dedicating a song to him, On The Wings of the...

My mother and I Jim when he worked for GE and would always ask for him when we called there. He was always so pleasant & I'm so glad we had the pleasure to know him. He always talked about his family and was very proud of ya'll.

Harriet, Brother Sharpe and I wish to express our deepest sympathy to you and your family's loss of Jim. We didn't know him but for a short while but we feel that our lives were brightened when he was around. We know that Jim is rejoicing today with our Lord and he is enjoying the wonders of Heaven. May your heard and mind be filled with wonderful memories of Jim and always bring a smile when Jim plays a love song on the strings of your heart. With all of our prayers to you, Rev John and...

Dear Harriett and Family,

I am so sorry for your loss. I know that God has been with you throughout this hard time. My prayers and thoughts are with the family and may God give you strength and peace.

I was unable to attend services because of illness.

Dear Mrs. Mikel, Lori and Mark, Troy and Michell, and Susan, Mother called me about the loss of your husband and dad. I know you will miss him, as I miss my dad, but they are walking with our heavenly father now, and we will soon meet them again. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. May the Lord give you peace strength and comfort as He holds you in the palm of His hands.

Dear Harriett and Family:

Our hearts go out to you at this time. We know you will miss Jim,
but know this, he's with the Master
and probably playing and singing for him--something he always loved to do. You and yours are in our thoughts and prayers. We love you
all dearly.
