Deacon James C. Miles Sr.

Sending deepest condolences and prayers to the Miles family at this time. Jimmy was a wonderful, faithful God fearing gentleman. He always treated me kindly through the years when I visited his home with my best friend Genorace, who was his nephew. He will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on through his family and the Richmond and Detroit communities.

James(known by family and friends as Jimmy) was my first cousin. We grew up together from Centralia, Va to Richmond, Va. We had great times and family fun together. I will surely miss Jimmy.

I was at Vacation Bible School at First Shiloh Baptist Church when it felt like someone punched me in my diaphragm and took my breath away, when I was told that "Daddy Miles" was gone. Floyd, Jimmy Jr, Trice (as momma Miles called her), Eric, I´m so sorry you have to go through this pain. Please know I love you & I surely miss his praises, his shouting for Jesus, Sunday School, poking, laughing, & his dedication & commitment to just serve & love with gladness. Love, Annie
