Not sure what to say?

Jim Miller & I shared so many adventures for so many years. There is nothing better than a dear & loyal friend. Indeed, he was that. He will be missed, with love.

Hello, I will always love and remember James, as Jim, and his entire family. There are no words stronger than love, Wish I could have been there but couldn't. My love forever will be with you all. uncle Mel.

I have such great memories growing up with Jimmy. My earliest memories are from when we were in Sunday School together at First Baptist Church. We both attended Sam Houston Elementary, San Jacinto Junior High and Robert E. Lee High School. We were in the same Cub Scouts den and later in Explorer Scouts. In Junior High and High School, we played football together. Jimmy was a great friend during those years and I have the upmost respect for him as a person of true character and loyal...

Jim fishing at one of the headquarters ponds with Bob Brown behind - 1974.

Easter 1976, a brisket barbecue and hippy gathering at Joe and Cindy Brown's.

Here are Jim and Joe Brown under the Cottonwoods in front of Jim's house on the ranch, 1974.

Just discovered the guest book and went back to 1974 and 76 for a photo or two of some really good times and exceptional friends. The last opportunity to be with Jim and spend time was about a year ago at Joe Brown's funeral. Even at such a sad occasion it was impossible not to really enjoy Jim's company. We truly laughed til we cried at the memories of the good times and because of that I include a photo of two outstanding men and true friends.

To all yall, Cheryl, Jimbo, Trish and Madison,,,,thanks for letting me be a part of the "last dance". As you know Jimmy and I grew up pretty well together and the memories go way, way back. While there at the ranch for the memorial, it was really hard to finally face the music and have to leave because of all the people I visited with, I told a Jimmy and Rusty story to each of them and each story generated another one, and there was someone else nearby that wanted to hear "the one...

Sorry for your loss. Jimmy was a larger than life personality. Someone we all cared for.

Jimmy was one of those guys I always had confidence in, and there were several on our team that we named the Dirty Thirty. Whenever he was in the huddle his intensity vibrated through us regardless of the situation. We prided ourselves during the bleak years before our senior season in never giving up and playing as hard as we could until the last whistle. Jimmy was one of those leaders on the field who never let up and wouldn't let anyone else let up either. He was one of the reasons we...
