had mention by name can be support to you in his absent. I will pray for you all. God be with you at...

Dear Ali-Rie and Family, I was so saddened to receive word of Jim's death. I have so many memories of you all from the time that Judy was small but, of course, the ones I cherish the most are the ones of you and Jim and the support you provided to my mother and then to me. Jim's knowledge, kindness and love were so evident. He gave mom hope and he, along with you AliRie, gave me strength and sanity. I only hope he knew how special he was to everyone. The hugs and love you sent to me, I send...

Ali-Rie and famiy, I was so sad to receive the news of Jim's passing. He was so much help to us during Mom and Dad's illnesses for that I will be forever grateful.
My deepest sympathy to all of you, may you find peace in your memories.
Love,

I cherish the memories of our time together at Virginia. I always felt close to Jim as so many others did. He was a kindred spirit. We were both born in July of 1926. His love for students was palpable. He will be sorely missed. Love to you, Ali-Rie.

Ali Rie and girls:
How sad we were to hear of Uncle Jim's passng. We so loved his gentle, loving ways, and that sweet smile. Our memories of visits in Maine and Charlottesville are precious. His life was rich and full and we know he is continuing on giving and loving! Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
With love,
Becca

We shared laughter, concern and a common belief that there is a Heaven. May Jim forever rest in the arms of god and in the ground of the Westminster Presbyterian Church Memorial Garden. God bless him and god bless the entire Miller family. I am sorry for your...
