Not sure what to say?

The staff and congregation of the Anderson Hills United Methodist Church offer their prayers and condolences to Jim's family.

My condolences to the Misheff family. I will always remember "Big Jim" as enormously dignified, erudite, compassionate and humble. Though our paths crossed briefly, I am grateful for the lasting influence this larger-than-life man had upon me.

Did Rev. Misheff ever finish that book he seemed perpetually to be working on back at North Hyde Park Methodist? My family were all fond of him and of you too, Virginia. My father especially liked Jim's humor. I recall once when Jim said his son had dropsy and heart disease. My startled father exclaimed "What?" So sorry to hear of the passing of Big Jim. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

May your memories of the wonderful times you shared with your loved one comfort you and your family, today and always.

I will always remember when the Misheff family first came to NR. Rev Jim drove a Big Black car. My Mom and Dad adored him. He was the first person I called when my Dad passed. He was always there for everyone with Love and Support. He was a great man.

My Mom and Dad adored Rev Jim.I remember when the family first came to NR. He drove this Big Black Car. He was a true gentleman and the first person I called when my Dad died. He will be missed.

Dear Misheff Family,
Please accept my condolences. Many prayers and much love to you all.

Jim was a huge part of our lives while we attended Franklin Chapel and after. Our girls have very fond memories of him teaching them in Sunday School. He also married David and I and our daughter Kati in 2005. He was a very special friend to both my parents. He is loved and will be missed. My heart goes out to all the family members at this time. I will keep all of you in my prayers.
