Not sure what to say?

OMG, has it already been 3 years! As I think back about the many years that Jim and I worked together, ate lunch together at King Arthur's Pub, traveled together and laughed together - although I laughed at his stories more than he laughed at mine, one moment always stands out. In 1989 or 1990 (time melds memories) we went to Wayne, PA where we had a team of 6 of our I.T. staff at Premier Systems to learn about Trust Plus. The first evening we were there we were taking all of them to...

Jim was an outstanding man and "boss". I was his executive secretary for 4 yrs. - before I retired to AZ and lost touch with the bank. I am so sorry to know he has passed.

I know Linda - and loved hearing this story of how they met! She is such an amazing person so I can imagine how wonderful of a man Jim was. Much love and peace to Jim and Linda´s family.

I was fortunate enough to work with Jim during my Chicago days. He was always so positive, funny and supportive for things I did in the Executive Dining Rooms. I will always remember the good times with him and he will be missed but never forgotten. God Bless him and his Family.

I only met Jim briefly during the 90's in the London NT office. Didn't converse with him at great length but instantly knew he was a kind, hilarious and caring person. Thoughts are with the Family. X X

I was saddened to hear about Jim's passing and I want to offer my sincere condolences to the Mitchell family. When Jim retired from Northern, we were given a small laminated card with the "top 10" quotes from Jim Mitchell. A few months ago, I came across the card and shared it with co-workers and we shared some memories of his time at Northern. Everyone remembers Jim fondly! When I was a young admin in the late 90s, I was in charge of a video conferencing unit. Jim had a room full of...

Linda, So very sorry for your loss. My condolences to you & your family. I attended Redeemer Luth Church & my son Michael was in confirmation with Heather.

Jim and I worked together for 31 years. He was, by far, the best manager I ever had. He epitomized Northern Trust. I loved the man. I cannot get my head around his no longer being with us. The world has suffered a great loss. My heart goes out to Linda and the family he loved so dearly. Jon Socolofsky

Jim was our neighbor and he was always friendly and made us laugh with his one liners. He was very generous with his time and advice. Our sympathy goes out to Linda and the family.
